I'm back on Oahu for my great friend Christi's 50th birthday. It's my first time back since I brought my mom here in March of 2008. She had never been here and I wanted to share my love of Hawaii with her. Because of her limited mobility, we stayed in a hotel on the beach at Waikiki. She died this year and I'm thinking of her fondly, planning my trip to the shrimp truck. Here are some photos of our short but sweet visit to Oahu...
